Corvara is medieval town in Abruzzo, located in Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park (Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e dei Monti della Laga) and 4 km from the mountain property. This idyllic town is characterised by its ancient stone houses. The oldest part of Corvara, which can be reached only by foot, still maintains the medieval feel which is definitely worth seeing. It has been recently renovated by using construction methods and materials that respect it medieval origin. While walking through the old part of Corvara, one may occasionally see a goat or two pocking out from the doors of the ancient buildings.
