The larger house, which has been extensively renovated in recent years, was originally built in 1975. This two floor house has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens, a living room, and a garage. It also has an additional spacious attic that can be converted to living quarters. The living room and the downstairs kitchen are fitted with a fireplace.

A large covered terrace is on the south side of the building and the living room offers a beautiful view to the mountain tops of Majella and, on a clear day, to the sea. The well equipped upstairs kitchen not only has the view to the sea but, like one of the bedrooms, there is a vista to the spectacular Corno Grande of the Gran Sasso massif. 

An efficient gas heating system was installed in 2008. This system provides both hot water and heating during the winter moths when it's needed. The gas comes from a large subterranean tank.
