Small House
This stone house was originally built in the 19th century. It is build with the typical thick stone walls of the period. While the exterior has been purposely left to it's original look and the kitchen and the living room have the '40 look, the two bedrooms and the bathroom have been recently (2003) renovated in a way that maintains the historic "feel" of this building.
Beneath the living quarter there are the original stables, which were originally used to house the farm animals. Nowadays they are mainly used for storage purposes.
Just outside the entrance to the house, there is an old wood burning bread oven. This is still in good working conditions. With this oven, it is possible to bake exquisite bread. It is often used to bake excellent pizza and other culinary treats of Abruzzo.
From the house there is splendid view all the way to the sea, thanks to the location high up in the mountain.
